Sharing the gifts of Yoga with Children
Relaxing, empowering, balancing, enlivening…these are but a few words that describe Yoga for Young Ones, a unique creative movement program that focuses on cooperation, not competition, imagination and respect for Self and the beings with whom we share this glorious planet. Yoga is a fun, gentle way for kids to build a lifelong foundation for well being. It cultivates strong healthy bodies, and an increased ability focus, reflect and relax. There isn’t a better time to share this healing art with our future!
The YfYO approach is multi-disciplinary, and we’ll explore various ways to share the joys of yoga with kids, incorporating educational theory, games, art, storytelling and song as ways to enrich kids’ hatha yoga practice and wellbeing.
