BELIZE RETREAT FAQ

GET SHAKTI-FIED!
Yoga Vacation in Belize
April 14-21, 2012

Ready for some fun, sun, spirit and adventure? Here are some details to assist you in making your decision and planning your trip:

We'll be staying at Ak'Bol Eco Resort on Ambergris Caye in Belize. The resort is on the beach and rests just inside the second largest barrier reef in the world. It's crazy beautiful!!! Lauren has been there many times, and it is one of the most stunning, relaxing, friendly places ever! Leave your watches, worries, overcoats, computers, and stressors at home!

The cabanas are all on the reef side, and three of them are literally steps from the water. The others are not much further away. The Yoga Barracks, the more affordable and plentiful option, has new, gorgeous private rooms. They share baths, and are lagoon view (birds, sunset, super quiet).

Pricing is below, and includes:
• two yoga classes per day
• special yoga events
(fire ceremony, partner Thai Massage)
• seven nights accommodation
• meals and drinking water, juices and teas
• use of resort (including pool, pier, snorkel equipment, hammocks, beach chairs, maybe a fishing pole...)
• transfers to/from from town at the beginning and end of the week, and
• a snorkeling trip to the reef!

Optional activities: night life in town, bird watching, kayaking, alligator 'hunting,' drooling in the hammock, tan line development, barefootin' for a week, coconut palm tree climbing lessons with Johnny, world class charades, swimming in the Caribbean, biking, snorkeling, scuba, other, crazier water sports (paragliding, etc), sunset cruising, caving, Mayan ruins, losing your sunglasses, again....or doin' nothin' at all, thank you very much.

Travel: You'll fly into Belize International Airport in Belize City (BZE).  Many major airlines fly here, but book early to keep the fare low. From the airport, you can take a cab to the water taxi and enjoy the azure adventure of a boat ride to the island, or choose to take a 20 minute regional (puddle jumper) flight (more pricey, but faster) to San Pedro, the 'capital' of Ambergris Caye. Either way, we'll pick you up from town. The cost of your transfer from the airport to the island is your responsibility.
